PETALING JAYA: All schools will be given a special holiday on Friday, Sept 18 in conjunction with the Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebrations, which is expected to fall on either Sunday or next Monday.

Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the Cabinet made the decision to enable parents to make plans for their families to travel earlier to their hometowns and avoid traffic jams.

“This decision covers all schools and educational institutions under the Education Ministry,” he said in a statement.

Muhyiddin who is also the deputy prime minister, said the decision meant the ministry’s earlier circular on additional holidays for Hari Raya Aidilfitri was revoked.

Apparently Gerak Gempur is what the government refers to as the standard for the REAL PMR!
Which means, if everyone does well in Gerak Gempur, the PMR standard or the passing/A mark would be higher. So DON'T do well!

So now everyone is going off about Pn.Chua's stupid seni folio. (she doesnt let us do logo okaayy?! )

and trials...

so lets look at the bright side for once

1. we have a nice moral teacher, who brings us to the library and doesn't scold... much.

2. I know some people dont like miss stephanie but honestly lah, she doesn't put you in the blue card. even though half the class never passes up her work. and she doesnt know how to really scold people. :)

3. despite pn phang's immense load of homework, at least she's pretty nice. when homework is not involved, that is. Plus, she's a good teacher lah.

4. miss gan. who can hate her? seriously.

5. pn. lim is mellowing down a little. I mean, she didnt kill us for throwing paper balls right?

6. c'mon lah. at least most of our teachers are competent. despite their flaws.

7. oh yeah. cyh IS being more human by each day. so don't push him lah. be compassionate. ;P

pn. phang is being so crazy recently. she asked us to do so many homeworks & she wanted us to pass up on the same day. today, she asked us to copy 4 karangan's rangka from the answer at the back of the book. hello! we can read 'em by ourselves one lohh! && u think if we copy so much we'll actually remember what we copied? lol.

Wow, what on earth is everyone's fetish for Rubik Cubes? So many people are making a big hype of it!

Today, YiLin and JieYang went up "stage?" to get their chinese debate prizes from Pn. Ya. YiLin's team got first whilst JieYang got second but he got the Best Debator Award. (or whatever! too lazy to translate to chinese!) Plus, How Xin Yi got the first prize for the BM essay writing competition organized by Kelab Pencegahan Jenayah. Thank god! Pn. Phang would've killed us otherwise. With all the time wasted.

CHS IDOL results are out. Jie Zhen and Jie Yang got second. Which is so unfair, they were totally the best. Just remember the crowd going crazy when he hit that note! Anyway, congratulations guys!

The rest of the day was like a blur to me. Maybe someone else can update?

Wheee. Today most of the teachers were mad at us. Nearly.
BC teacher went on her usual rant about how terrible 3A2 is.

Sejarah teacher was fed up with us. (He got a new haircut! Side partings!)

Science teacher called up everyone who did not complete/pass up work. She was mad at the usual people. Whatever.

Sivik teacher was sick! But she still managed to make some of us stand for a whole period whilst she obsessed over the whereabouts two extremely special people. =))

Everything else was boring and normal.

Today was a crazy day lah! Only had two lessons, Chinese and Moral!

Dang, if only the whole day relief, wouldn't it be nice then? Imagine how envious our friends would be!

The accident in the Science lab.

Who has no idea what happened in the Science lab? I'm sure all of you know!

Samuel Ong was basically being a bastard, since he was acting all cool and whatever. I have no idea why the hell he was at our table in the first place.

TAKE ONE.

Firstly, he put the lead sulphide in a test tube, while I, the innocent, heated it. The thing blew up! Can you imagine? And it gave a hole in my pencil box.

See that damn hole? And the plastic on the zipper has melted a bit, too. It must have been pretty hot for the thing to burn its way through.

TAKE TWO.

I didn't want to continue the experiment already but he insisted. So, fine, this time, boiling tube with calcium carbonate. I scooted away from him as far as I could, but he asked me to hold the stupid tube.

"Nothing will happen! If anything happens, I take responsibility!" That's what he said.

But mana I tau, after 2 seconds of holding it, it exploded.

Not again! How could it beeee! I know its not really Samuel's fault for the stuff that keeps blowing up, but I just wanted to blame someone, you know me lah. Very shocked you know.

Anyway moral of the today's Science lesson:
NEVER TRUST SAMUEL ONG.

I just have no idea how come the boiling tube could explode. After all, its a boiling tube, not a test tube. I think that mystery will remain unsolved forever!
